Do you have 2-3 hours a week that you can donate to your child?

Do you enjoy assisting children to fulfil their potential?

Can you be a role model for our youth?

Do you enjoy field trips, camping and skill building?

Are you willing to lead or co-lead a Camp Fire Club?

Then we are looking for you.  

Camp Fire USA, Golden Empire Council is always looking for adults or older youth to provide Camp Fire programs in their home, church or school. Training and program materials are provided as well as ongoing support to assist you in being successful with your club. Camp Fire USA is a non-profit youth organization whose membership is open to anyone without regard to race, creed, sex, color, origin or disability.

Camp Gold Hollow can easily accommodate up to 100 campers in our 13
kiosks. Our full sized commercial kitchen and dinning room with cozy lodge is
the perfect site for your next family reunion, church camp-out or scouting
event. Your rental comes complete with canoes, life jackets and over sized
camp fire ring for skits and S'mores.

CAMP FIRE CANDY SALE:
Who can resist our Camp Fire mints? Or Almond Rocha? Annual candy sale begins in
January and we are currently looking for a volunteer candy coordinator as well as
locations to set up booths for a 5 week sale. Families interested in selling candy can
sign up at the Camp Fire office. Families who sell and reach certain award levels can
offset some of their resident camp expenses as well as participate in a Thank you
camp-out at Camp Gold Hollow in the Spring.

CAMP GOLD HOLLOW WORK WEEKENDS:
Camp Gold Hollow is always in need of special attention. If you can rake or hammer,
or have more specialized talents such as plumbing or electrical, we can use your help.
Work weekends are scheduled twice a year. Meals provided and time put aside for
some fun too. Weekends are restricted for those 12 and over.
